Shop local - the shortest route from China to Calgary.
Webguy follows various social media sites and a hot topic is always Shop Local. Usually the argument is that it supports local businesses and the money stays in the community.
Although his colleague did go to a local store, they said he had to order online. So what is the shortest route from China to Calgary? I'm glad you asked - ZhengZhou, China - Incheon, Korea - Anchorage, Alaska - Louisville, Kentucky - Seattle, Washington - Richmond, BC - Winnipeg, MB - Calgary, AB.
No jet fuel wasted here! Note, I am not blaming UPS, they probably shipped it the cheapest and/or fastest way. I just wonder if all our products/fruits/vegetables/goods take the scenic route? Is there a better way?
Do you shop local when possible?
