The Calgary Zoo current exhibits include Destination Africa, Canadian Wilds, Australia, Botanical gardens, Eurasia, Prehistoric Park and South America. The zoo opens every day except for Christmas Day.

Destination Africa - Rainforest and the African Savannah.

Canadian Wilds - North American birds and mammals. Aspen Woodlands, the Northern Forest, and the Rocky Mountains.

Australia - mammals, reptiles, and birds from Oceania

Botanical Gardens and Dorthy Harvie Conservatory - tropical garden, the rainforest, the arid garden, and the butterfly garden.

Eurasia - Eurasian animals.

Prehistoric Park - features life-sized dinosaurs in their re-created geographical environment.

South America - animals from South America.
