Creating your Account and Profile Click “Register” or “Sign Up” to create an Edmonton Kids Community account. Create a username and password. You will use this to login to Edmonton Kids Community. Your “Display Name” can be your username or something else. This is the name that will show up on your profile and can be changed at any time. We do not recommend changing Display Name, as it is also your vanity name. For instance if your Display Name is "Jake Fuller" then you can also login under http://edmontonkids.com/Jake-Fuller . (We automatically change the space to a dash). Once logged in, you will see your profile. You must provide an e-mail address that already exists, which will be used to notify you of account and profile activity. We will not share it with third parties. Please try to use an account other than @yahoo.com - Yahoo may not deliver the confirmation email. Check your spam box. Now that you have created an account, you need to create a profile. Your profile is what other users will see when they go to your Edmonton Kids Social page. Most fields are optional, so enter as much information as you want. Name and Address – this is the most basic information on your profile. Contact Info and Preferences How do you want people to contact you? Tell people a little about yourself in your bio About Me Your profile picture is probably the first thing others will see on your profile, so pick one that best represents you. You can add other online profiles (i.e. Facebook, Twitter) to your profile by copying and pasting the URL into the corresponding social network field. An icon for each social network will appear at the top of your profile page. Now you should be able to view your profile page. This site is using verified registration, you will need to verify your account. If this is the case, you will see a message in the top right corner of the page under your username. You will receive your verification code in an e-mail to the address with which you registered. Copy that code into the box provided. Or you can click on the link in the email. If you have not received the code, please click the “Send Again” button.
